It was fun thinking, writing about myself and I have totally enjoyed it. Here are some of my random facts about me:
Everybody in my family except my husband was born on the 10th. I was born on March 10th, my Dad September 10th, MIL and my toddler October 10th, my Mom and Brother November 10th.
I can speak quite a few Indian languages apart from English. Kannada as I grew up in Bangalore, Hindi as it is our National language, Marathi as most of my maternal relatives are from Bombay. I can also speak Konkani in the South Kanara accent like my in-laws and also the North Kanara accent like my parents. I also studied Sanskrit for 5 years in school and I hope that I can count that language as well!
I am a “cold blooded” person and cannot tolerate cold especially during winters. The moment the temperature goes below 75 F, my hands and feet start becoming extra cold. At work I am the only person walking around with a sweater, when the rest of the people are warm and toasty L
I have a sweet tooth, hence love anything sweet. I can literally indulge myself in any type of Sweets or Desserts. The first thing that I browse for in blogs, food websites (if you have not already guessed) is Sweets. So the next time, you “see” somebody lurking around for a longer time in the dessert section , you know who that is J
I am an introvert and a home-loving person. My idea of relaxation especially after work and the weekend is chilling out at home, trying out recipes, cooking, reading books, and watching TV etc. Many a times I have to be literally dragged out of home even to do the groceries.
I used to be a huge Perry Mason/ Earl Stanley Gardner fan in my High School and I have read and enjoyed at least 60 of his different cases.
I enjoy listening to soft rock and music from the 80’s and 90’s. That immediately soothes me and preps me up especially when I am having a rough day.
Now I would like to tag the following people. There is no compulsion to do the Meme, do it only if you please.
- Madhu of Ruchii
- Roopa of My Chow Chow Bhath
- Vanamala of Nalapaka
