Raw Mango Thecha Chutney/ Spicy and Tangy

Raw Mango Thecha Chutney is a fiery and flavorful condiment originating from Maharashtra, India. This rustic chutney combines the sharp tang of raw mangoes with the bold heat of green chilies and the nuttiness of roasted peanuts. Traditionally pounded using a mortar and pestle, Thecha has a coarse texture, which enhances its earthy appeal. It is often paired with bhakri (jowar or bajra flatbread) or served as an accompaniment to meals, adding a vibrant kick to simple dishes.

Beyond its intense flavors, Raw Mango Thecha Chutney offers a delightful sensory experience. The freshness of coriander, the smoky richness from garlic, and the crunch of peanuts create a perfectly balanced bite. While the spice level can be adjusted to taste, Thecha is known for its fiery punch, making it a favorite among spice enthusiasts.
