Mango Milkshake is an easy, delicious drink for those hot summer days. Not only does it has a cooling effect, but also provides good nutrition because of the addition of milk to the mangoes. This is also a good way of using up any extra ripe mangoes. Prepare the milkshake in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Always serve cold.
The ingredients here are just for guidance. They can be changed based on the sweetness of the mangoes and also how thick one prefers the drink to be.
- 2 cups Mango pulp/cubes (after peeling the skin)
- 4 cups milk (I used low-fat)
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- Sugar (as required)
If using the mango cubes first make them into a puree using the blender. Blend them for 1 minute.
Add milk, cardamom powder, sugar and blend it again for another minute. Store it in the refrigerator. Serve cold.
